From mobile apps to management software to multilanguage interactive voice response, we offer health workers and managers the tools and technology they need to do their very best work. We develop solutions that are open source, data-driven, sustainable, and collaborative. And as a pioneer in the field of health workforce informatics, we’re committed to using technology, information, and analytical approaches to support the people at the center of our health systems.
Always, our digital health initiatives are rooted in the Principles for Digital Development.
Our key approaches include:
iHRIS is simple, easy-to-use, open source software that supplies health-sector leaders with information to track, manage, and plan the health workforce.
mHero is a two-way, mobile phone-based communication system based on iHRIS that uses SMS text messages and Interactive Voice Response, to connect ministries of health and health workers. mHero operates on simple talk-and-text mobile devices—no smartphone or tablet required.
Facility Match is a tool for identifying, reconciling, and synthesizing duplicate or incomplete facility records across multiple data sets. Facility Match can be used in government health information systems and PEPFAR reporting.
Powered by iHRIS, the SOTA Registry serves as a hub for information on clinical volunteers from the surgical, obstetric, trauma, and anesthesia communities who are interested in short-term assignments in low- and middle-income countries. IntraHealth maintains the registry in a cloud-based environment as a service to ICS.
